Introduction
Supervisory Skills for Team Leaders provides new and emerging supervisors with the practical tools they need to lead teams reliably and confidently. Through targeted instruction, real-world scenarios, and hands-on exercises, participants will learn to communicate clearly, manage performance, resolve conflicts, and motivate diverse teams. By the end of the course, participants will be able to apply proven supervisory practices that improve team productivity, engagement, and accountability.
Objectives
- Run effective one-to-one and team meetings that produce agreed actions and follow-up.
- Deliver corrective and developmental feedback that changes behaviour and records outcomes.
- Allocate work and monitor capacity using simple planning and prioritisation techniques.
- Manage difficult conversations and resolve common performance and conduct issues with a structured approach.

- Participants are expected to engage in guided self-study, reading, or personal reflection on the day’s content. This contributes toward the CPD accreditation and deepens conceptual understanding.

Please Note:
- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
